Some weddings just stay with you, and Laura and Henrik’s was one of those days. Their Swedish-Colombian celebration felt like the perfect blend of cultures, families, and love, all wrapped up in the stunning surroundings of Finca Marques de Montemolar in Altea. From start to finish, it was a day full of connection and joy, and it was such an honor to be there to capture it all.
The morning started in two very different but equally beautiful places.
Henrik spent the morning with his brother and his best friends enjoying their time at a Hotel Cap Negret with a sea view. They sipped drinks by the beach bar, keeping things relaxed but with that quiet excitement that comes before such an important day.
Laura, on the other hand before she headed to the Finca Marques de Montemolar, got ready with her mum, sisters, and cousins at a gorgeous modern Airbnb. The atmosphere was light and full of laughter, with everyone soaking up the moment, opening up champagne by the pool and enjoying each other’s company —a perfect way to capture their playful energy before the day began.
The ceremony took place at the venue, framed by the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. It was simple, heartfelt, and incredibly moving to see two families, from such different parts of the world, come together to celebrate Laura and Henrik’s love. The couple’s vows were honest and tender, and the way their families looked at them said everything you needed to know about the support and joy surrounding them.
After enjoying their cocktail party accompanied by real mariachi’s music, the couple enjoyed some alone moment to soak in into their new life of the husband and wife.
As the sun dipped lower, dinner began with breathtaking views of Altea’s old town as the backdrop. Speeches flowed one after another, filled with stories, laughter, and happy tears. It’s always a privilege to witness moments like that—when the people closest to a couple pour their hearts out in words.
The night unfolded beautifully, with music, dancing, and that unique Mediterranean atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer, savoring every moment.
